DESCRIPTION:The Creative Tech Internship (CTI) is designed for teenagers and young adults ages 17 to 24 who are interested in pursuing careers or studies in creative technology fields. This program serves as a bridge between educational experiences and professional environments. \nInterns meet weekly on Fridays\, from 10:00 am – 3:30 PM starting on September 25 throughout the academic year to explore creative technology fields such as: \n•  Video production & editing\n•  Animation & motion graphics\n•  Graphic design & branding\n•  Coding & game design\n•  Social media & digital marketing\n•  Artificial intelligence & digital storytelling \nAlongside their peers and mentors\, interns will complete hands-on projects\, build personal portfolios\, and grow both professionally and personally. The program supports a range of learning styles and strengths and is especially suited for those who enjoy both independent and collaborative work. \nWhat to Expect After Applying \nThere will be an interview screening once your application has been reviewed. You will receive an email with steps for scheduling an interview. \nSuccessful applicants will have: \n•  An interest in developing creative tech projects\n•  Collaboration skills\n•  Started thinking about career pathways\n•  Foundational computer skills that they can demonstrate (ex. downloading and sharing files\, writing an email\, logging into an account with a password\, using Google Search\, etc.)\n•  Demonstrated that they are ready to work in a professional environment\n•  Openness to building their skills and learning new things \nNotification Date: Candidates will be notified of acceptance on a rolling basis\, by September 18. \nPlease note (accepted applicants): This program has a one-time registration fee of $350. Participants receiving school credit through a NYC Department of Education public school\, or college internship credit\, pay a fee of $150. Need-based financial aid is available.\nApply Now
