Join us for an exciting summer of virtual weeklong workshops! Over five weeks, students can explore a variety of creative and technical skills, including audio production through podcasting and digital music, filmmaking with video editing and special effects, animation using digital and stop-motion techniques, game design for both digital and tabletop formats, and digital arts focusing on graphic design and illustration.

Week 1: Digital Arts: Graphic Design & Illustration

July 14-18

Get creative in this hands-on workshop focused on graphic design and illustration. Students will learn essential design principles, experiment with digital tools, and create unique artwork to enhance their creative skills.

Week 2: Filmmaking: Video Editing & Special Effects

July 21-25

Learn the fundamentals of filmmaking with a focus on video editing and special effects. Students will film and edit footage, add visual effects, and create dynamic videos.

Week 3: Audio Production: Podcasting & Digital Music

July 28-Aug 1

Tell compelling stories through the art of audio production with podcasting and digital music creation. Students will develop recording and editing techniques, experiment with sound design, and produce their own podcasts and music tracks.

Week 4: Game Design: Digital & Tabletop

Aug 4-8

Explore game design by creating both digital and tabletop games. Students will learn core design principles, develop original concepts, and bring their ideas to life using digital tools and hands-on prototyping.

Week 5: Animation Studio: Digital & Stop Motion

Aug 11-15

Bring characters and stories to life in this animation workshop! Students will learn the fundamentals of both digital and stop-motion animation, experimenting with various tools to create their own animated shorts.

• Registration Policy: All registrations for our weeklong workshops are non-refundable to ensure proper staffing and planning for each session.
• Community Agreements: Before the workshop begins, students and families must read and sign the Community Contracts & Student Handbook to ensure all participants understand workshop expectations.
• Device Recommendation: We recommend students use a laptop to participate in virtual workshops. Tablets may work but could have limitations.
• Email Access: We recommend students have access to their own email address to log into workshop tools independently and continue using them after the workshop ends.
