In this workshop, students will learn about how to spot misinformation, tell if online info is trustworthy, and make smart choices when browsing the web. We’ll discuss how to think critically about what we see online so we can confidently navigate the digital world.

The Digital Empowerment Workshop is a free virtual after-school program where students discuss topics related to the digital world and work on their communication skills in a supportive environment.

Topics are decided by TKU students. Past discussions covered topics such as social media addiction, NFTs, and making friends online. For students ages 14 to 24.
