Level Up Tech (LUT)
The Level Up Tech programs are designed to prepare participants for entry-level roles across various tech-driven sectors. Each series focuses on a specific industry, equipping participants with skills and knowledge needed to pursue job opportunities in that field.

Eligibility
This Career Ladder program is for neurodiverse students ages 16 to 24 who want to develop their career-readiness skills. Some LUT series are offered entirely online, while others follow a hybrid format with an in-person component in Downtown Brooklyn. Applications are required to participate in program.

Level Up Tech: Digital Entrepreneurs
Interested in launching and growing your own online business or creative venture? Whether it’s running an Etsy shop, selling on Poshmark, or exploring e-commerce on eBay, this program helps participants acquire essential skills in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and e-commerce management. Through hands-on projects and mentorship, students gain the confidence and knowledge needed to transform their passions into successful entrepreneurial endeavors. For ages 16-24.

Level Up Tech: Data Analytics for the Green Economy
Explore important green energy concepts and local laws while learning practical skills in industry-standard data visualization tools like Google Sheets, Excel, and Tableau. The course also includes resume writing, mock interviews, and portfolio development.

Level Up Tech: Digital Marketing & E-commerce
Participants learned key terminology of digital marketing & e-commerce, tactics, and core skills through hands-on exercises to prepare them for entry-level roles. This five-month virtual program ran from October 2024 to February 2025, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00–3:00 PM EST, and was generously supported by NYCETC and Google.org. Upon completion, participants gained access to internship opportunities through AHRC NYC and employer connections via Bridges to Work, and were enrolled in ACCES-VR.

Level Up Tech: Data Visualization for a Green Future
In this 6-session pilot course, students explored how to analyze and visualize data using environmental and energy datasets. Through hands-on activities, they gained skills to interpret data and contribute to sustainability efforts. A longer series on this topic will be offered in Fall 2025; keep an eye out for the applications.

Level Up Tech: Pathways to Education Careers
Participants got a chance to build skills, confidence and experience to pursue roles as counselors or teaching assistants in educational settings. The workshops included practical training, mentorship and role-play where participants built on their skills in communication, classroom management and supporting diverse learners.
