Virtual Summer Workshops at Tech Kids Unlimited

Discover your creative potential this summer with our virtual weeklong workshops! Workshops will cover different tech topic each week, from game design to digital art and animation. The program is a great way to develop your skills and explore new tech in a fun and engaging environment.  TKU Programs are designed for ages 10-24 and all experience levels are welcome. 

Game Design 

Week 1: July 8 – 12,  $99
1:00 – 3:00 PM ET

Come join our weeklong workshop to learn about making games! Whether you already know a lot about designing games or you’re just starting out and want to learn more, this workshop is perfect for you. By the end of the workshop, you’ll know all about the different tools and tricks used to make games on different devices. You’ll be able to use this knowledge to create your own games and fun interactive experiences!

Digital Art & Animation 

Week 2: July 15 – 19, $99
1:00 – 3:00 PM ET

Unlock your creativity and bring your artistic vision to life in our Digital Art and Animation weeklong workshop! This workshop is designed to explore a variety of digital tools and techniques, including AI, digital illustration, pixel art, animated GIFs, and stop motion animation. By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away from the workshop with a stronger set of digital art and animation skills and a portfolio of projects that showcase your imagination.

Photo & Video Editing

Week 3: July 22 – 26, $99
1:00 – 3:00 PM ET

Join our Photo Editing and Video Production weeklong workshop to explore the exciting world of visual storytelling! Through hands-on projects, you’ll learn the art of capturing and editing photos and how to create short films and video projects. This workshop will inspire your creativity and teach you important skills in digital media. By the workshop’s end, you’ll have a collection of projects to showcase your work and the knowledge to produce photos and videos that tell captivating stories!

Creative Coding

Week 4: July 29 – Aug 2, $99

Join our weeklong Creative Coding workshop to explore various coding concepts and techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coder, you’ll use languages like JavaScript and Python to create interactive stories, art, and animations. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have developed a portfolio showcasing your coding skills and creativity. This will empower you to become a confident creator and innovator in the digital world.

3D Modeling

Week 5: Aug 5 – 9, $99
1:00 – 3:00 PM ET

In this weeklong workshop, dive into the world of 3D modeling, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of creating three-dimensional digital designs. Using different tools and software, like Tinkercad, you’ll develop your skills and create your own 3D models to bring your ideas to life! By the end of the week, you’ll have completed a series of 3D modeling projects to demonstrate your new skills!
